Surin Elephant Round-Up 2025: The Most Spectacular in a Decade

The Surin Elephant Round-Up 2025 was held magnificently at the Surin Provincial Stadium under the theme "Majestic Elephants: Heritage of Surin Land," featuring more than 300 elephants and their Kuay mahouts from Tha Tum and Kap Choeng districts. This year's show was acclaimed as the most spectacular in a decade, featuring elephants playing football, a loyalty ceremony, and a grand parade of elaborately dressed elephants that captivated over 50,000 Thai and international visitors. The Office of Arts and Culture, Surindra Rajabhat University, co-organized the exhibition "Kuay Mahout Traditions: Heritage from Our Ancestors," which drew widespread interest from attendees.
